Back To The Drawing Board-Literally!

Wow! What a humbling experience. My paintings were not accepted for the exhibition. It was a long shot to think that I could measure up to the standards of artists with renowned art degrees. But what is so reassuring and wonderful is to know that my family and friends support me 100%, encourage me and love me regardless of the outcome. Ultimately isn’t that all that is important? I will always paint and work to refine my style because it is relaxing and fun. I am so grateful to have an outlet for creative expression.

Spring semester is in full swing. I have fantastic students and I look forward once again to having the opportunity to mold and direct the 125 new students to embrace the wholesome life skills that the FACS curriculum directs.

Cookbook sales have soared recently! Word of mouth is the best way to advertise. It thrills me to know that people are preparing the recipes “From LA to LA”often and are successful in their results. It’s simple to order—just send me an email at gumbocreations@hotmail.com
